What Is Meowdoku?
Meowdoku combines classic Sudoku logic with a soft, feline-themed design. This is a game that keeps the core number-placement rules intact — each row, column, and 3×3 box must contain digits 1 through 9 exactly once — while replacing the standard sterile grid with a warmer, more approachable experience. Clean art and progressively harder boards make it easy to start playing, whether you have time for one puzzle or ten.
How to Play
Meowdoku has one clear goal: fill every empty cell so no number repeats in any row, column, or inner box. Some numbers are locked in place from the start, and you must use logic to find the rest.
Controls
Desktop: Click a cell, then click the number to place it. Mobile: Tap a cell, then tap your chosen number. No timers are involved, so you could work through each board at your own pace.
Core Mechanics
Meowdoku follows standard Sudoku rules without extra twists. Difficulty is determined by how many starting clues you receive and how spread out they are. Early boards provide plenty of givens; later boards leave wide gaps that demand sharper deduction.
Tips for Better Solving
Hunt for near-complete rows or columns first. A line missing just one or two numbers is the fastest place to start solving.
Try to eliminate before committing. If a cell could hold two or three values, check its row, column, and box neighbors to rule out the wrong ones.
Work box by box. A single 3×3 region is easier to scan than the full grid, and solving one could unlock clues for surrounding areas.
Must pause after each placement. One wrong number can cascade into a mess of contradictions several moves later.
Why It Works
Meowdoku works because it stays out of its own way. This is a game with no pop-up ads, no energy meters, and no currencies to manage — just puzzles and a quiet cat motif. The relaxed tone makes Meowdoku a solid fit for short breaks or longer sessions when you want your brain engaged but not stressed.
